What Is The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™?

Honda’s navigation system uses GPS technology to draw on a large maps database. From there it tracks your location and offers step-by-step directions to any given destination on an HD screen–all while providing points of interest that might pop up along the way. Additionally, the system responds to voice commands like “Go home” or “Find the closest Honda EV charging station”. It can also read aloud directions for your convenience.

How Do I Use Honda Navigation Voice Recognition?

1. Before you begin driving, close your windows or moonroof and minimize any vent air that might be blowing near the driver’s microphone.
2. Sit naturally, avoid leaning closer to the steering wheel, and prepare to speak in a clear voice without long pauses between words.
3. Press and release the TALK button located on your steering wheel.
4. Once the button beeps, say “Navigation” clearly.
5. Your infotainment screen will automatically display a list of available commands like “Find City” and “Show Map”.
6. Give your command.
7. Tip: if your navigation system is already in listening mode, you won’t need to press the steering wheel TALK button again–you can simply say “Navigation” and give the next command.
